Personality:Shin is usually a warm hearted person most of the time. He is usually the type of guys that lets things go by unless they target the guild and his guild members. When someone talks about any of these in a bad manner, he gets very angry and can't stop himself for what ever happens to the person. He often ends up breaking the other person's bones and what not. When he is in a battle, he is always serious and likes to often play around with his opponent to get to understand their power and how they fight which in his opinion is smart. Once he can analyze his opponent well, he will go all out and destroy them if necessary. He has great strength in battle especially with his magic. When it comes to ladies, he technically doesn't love a girl but more so thinks of them as a good friend in his guild. The only way he gets attracted to a girl is if she's strong, good looking, or has the same feelings that Shin has. He often will please a girl with his magic but most of the times he just talks with them and leaves. Likes: - Guild Members: Shin has a soft spot for all his fellow guild members. If any of them ever got hurt because of him or if anyone harmed them, he would not stop until he's killed the person who did so. He would never forgive himself if something happened cause of him.
- Fairy Tail: Ever since Shin had become a member of Fairy Tail, the guild had now become his home and he treats everyone with respect even if they don't give him any. He will always defend his guild for the sake of the others.
- Fighting: Fighting has been one of Shin's favorite things to do ever since he was a kid and learned magic. Shin had always done stuff that involved fighting any where to get some entertainment and he is now good at or so people say.
- His Magic: Shin loves his magic since it gives him a great deal of versatility. His magic also allows him to summon and make stuff out of ink for the ladies.
- Books: Shin is a bookwork meaning he loves to read and collect books. He had a lot of books about magic and locations. He loves to go to libraries to get books and often finishes reading them in 2-3 days.
Dislikes: - People Harming his guild: If Shin ever caught someone doing something to Fairy Tail or even his guild members, he would not stop at all costs until he killed the person who was held responsible.
- Seafood: Shin is a type of person who dislikes sea food. If he were to see any type of sea food ranging from fish to lobster, he would puke. He even pukes and get's sick by just thinking of sea food which is quite odd.
- Greed: This "greed" is not just money greed. This type of greed is also things as killing others for power, death to take the easy way out, harming others for the hell of it and etc. Shin cannot bare to see this.
Motivations: - Training to be the best: Shin has only had one dream and goal in his life, to become the best mage in all of Fairy Tail and if possible. Fiore. This is his biggest goal in life. If he does no succeed in this, who knows what will happen.
Fears: - Losing his family: This means losing his guild members in a brutal accident. If this were to happen, he would never forgive himself and anyone held responsible for this. He would lose all will to fight if this ever happened.
General Appearance
Height: 157 cm Weight: 48 Kg Hair: Light brown/spiked Eyes: Crimson red Skin Tone: Light Appearance: Shin has a light skin tone with red eyes which are a different shade of red from hair. He is the normal size a teen would be and he is neither strong in a muscular sense but is very strong when it comes to battling. He will usually wear a white dress shirt with a black vest over it with a red tie over that. He wears black dress pants with white tennis shoes for some reason. His training clothing consists of all white tracksuit.

Magic
Primary Magic: Dark Flare/Fire Magic Secondary Magic: N/A Caster or Holder: Caster Description: This magic is a type of magic that Shin learned at a very young age since this magic ran through his family. The magic is based around normal fire magic but with a twist, the fire is dark. Since the fire is a dark, black color, it can't light up areas and such but it can still burn areas. The magic is very interesting since it is versatile. It has some characteristics of normal fire magic and some of darkness magic making it a mystery. Strengths: A versatile type of magic. Can be used for both offense defense. The magic can still burn and cause damage to the opponent mage and area around him. This type of magic is not used by many so many mages don't really know the characteristics about this magic. It has some characteristics of normal fire magic and some of darkness magic making it a mystery. Weaknesses: This magic is steel week to water and wind magic. This magic cannot light up areas as well as heat anything up as that is a major drawback. The magic is mainly offensive with very little defense to it. A dragon slayer or god slayer can still eat these flames. History: - Birth:
Shin was born and raised in a family of mages for a while. He had loving parents, a pet dog, and lots and lots of toys. His parents loved Shin dearly and vowed to teach him everything they knew about their magic. Shin had the blood of a mage in him, all he needed was the true magic, the magic that ran in meshis family, Dark Flae.
- Dark Flames of hell:
Shin's parents told Shin that they would teach him the arts and secrets of this magic, Dark flames and they did just that. When Shin was 5, his father and mother took him to their training ground and started teaching Shin everything they knew about their magic. It took a long year for Shin to learn the basics. At age 6, he had learned a few basic spells as well as burn s small areas. At the age of 7, Shin had learned his magic to the fullest of his ability. He was ready for fighting and what not, or, that was at least what he thought.
- Death by thousand:
Shin had spent his last day with his parents at the age of 10. He last remembered seeing them waving to him as they went on their own trip. He had then later received a later that evening saying that his parents were killed in an accident. Shin cried when he saw this and couldn't believe this. 2 weeks after, he went to his parents grave, dressed in white, and said a few words before leaving. The words that he said were the words that he uses to this very day. "I will get stronger!"
- Life at it's best:
Shin had lived a quiet life after the incident occurred with his parents. He had managed to live on his own, stealing food from stalls, killing animals, and using his magic to his advantage. He had gotten a lot stronger in the past 4 years as his magic had advanced into an even greater source of magic. His teachings with his parents had taught him a lot as they had a lot of books back home that Shin read. It had taken him about 3 months to read all the 1,500 books his parents had about the different kinds of magic, locations, people, etc. He had traveled through out Fiore searching for that one place he would call home and surely enough, he had found it.
- Fairy Tail!:
Shin, now 16, had lived a wonderful yet adventurous life. After years of searching for home, he found it. It was a large yet loud building in Magnoila Town. It seemed to be their heart and it was quite large. Fairy Tail. He remembered seeing this guild when he was younger and his parents decided to show him around. The building may have changed but the atmosphere was yet still the same. He walked into the guild and talked with the guild master, had a cup of soft drink, and got his tattoo. He was the guilds new member. His goal, to become the strongest was just now getting started.

"So, this is the guild called Phantom Lord."
Shin was standing right outside the guild's doors.He looked back at the map that the guild master of this guild had given to him. He lifted his head back up from the paper and turned around to look back at the beautiful town he was in, Magnolia Town. "So Shin, what do you plan to do now?" Shin's exceed Tobi asked him. " Well, there are two options we have. One, we go and look around town for a while or two, we can go into the guild and hopefully join." Shin told Tobi. "Now tell me, what do you want to do?" I think we should first go join the guild, get to know the guild members better, and then go and explore town." Tobi told Shin and that is exactly what they did.
Once they entered the guild, they both looked around. They couldn't believe their eyes, The were so many people. People were talking, laughing, drinking, etc. Everybody was having a good time. Even the decor was nice. There was a bar right down the middle and tables and chairs everywhere else. The guild master was sitting next to two beautiful women with big breasts. Once Shin caught his gaze, the master motioned him to come closer and Shin did exactly what he was motioned to do.
Once Shin came closer, the master started giving him a huge lecture that not just anyone can join this guild, that only the ones with a passion to care for their own members, protect their own members, etc, can only join fairy tail. Shin understood completely what he meant, that not just anyone can walk in and join. So the master asked him if he was ready to get his guild tattoo and where he wanted it. Shin replied "On my heart in gray because I feel everyone in this guild is friendly and that everyone is the heart of the guild." Everyone one in the guild stood up and looked at Shin in amazement, that such a young kid can say something like a true mage at Phantom Lord would, even the master had was amazed. Shin was now officially part of the guild he always wanted to join, the Phantom Lord guild.
A few days later, Shin had told everyone that he was a dragon slayer and that he was on a mission to find his lost dragon. Everyone in the guild told Shin that there were no such things as dragons and that all dragon slayers had lacrimas inserted in them. Shin just always told them no.
