Draco the Burning One (Open)

Magnolia had begun to rebuild from the previous attack on their precious city. Little did they know, today was the day Draco would arrive. The sky began to turn run as the temperature in the city rose, people began to panic as from the sky descended a powerful beast. From the sky descended Draco the Flaming One. He was one hundred feet tall with four wings, his skin was charcoal black and he had a strong body. He roared across the town scaring all of Magnolia. He was waiting for some mages to appear, he then landed outside of Magnolia and roared fire into the sky. This dragon was way more powerful than the minions they had fought before. The sky was not black it was red, blood red as were the clouds. The water in Magnolia began to boil killing the fish. The animals began to freak out and yell, bark, even chirp at this beast.

Draco roared across Magnolia and his roar could be heard in every room in town. Even miles away it could be heard, this was a truly frightening beast. His muscles were so massive he could destroy mountains. If he swept his paw at you death was certain unless you were a powerful mage. The time to fight the flaming one was now, who would defend this great city?

Lance and Moki had been at the guild hall helping to rebuild a part of it that was knocked down during the invasion. Most the mages in Fairy Tail had made there way back from request and travels to help rebuild the guild hall and the town. There was said to be another dragon set to appear in town soon, and this time Fairy Tail would be ready. The sky turned blood red and the temperature of the town sky rocketed. All the mages and people in the town could tell at once that the day of the dragon's appearance was upon them. A mighty roar blasted across the town. It sounded as if the beast was right outside the guild doors. "Lets go Moki!" Lance started running for the door with the purple exceed following close behind him.

From outside the guild hall Lance saw the dragon blasting flames off in the distance. It looked like it settled a bit outside of town in an open area, giving Lance a bit of relief that the giant dragon wasn't inside the city itself so the destruction from the battle will hopefully be minimal. As the two zoomed towards the dragon Lance said a small prayer to Luxscanti asking forgiveness for slaying another dragon, but also the strength and knowledge to save the town. Yue and Aila were to join him on this assault with the three of them they should hopefully be able to save the town.

Moki landed a few hundred yards away from the dragon so that it wouldn't see him right away and maybe they could plan an attack idea. He stood halfway up a tree on a thick branch. Moki was hanging on his back ready to fly off at a moments notice. From this close Lance could feel the magical pressure coming off the dragon, he knew that if just him and Moki rushed in the dragon would be able to swat them away like flies. The only chance for the town to be saved was if all three mages worked in unison to take down the beast.

"B-big sis" Karu crawled forward. His eyes appeared to be fading between their normal excited sparkle and an empty pit of despair. Behind him lying limp on the ground was his precious twin; the one that had accompanied him since birth and shared in nearly every experience. In a single moment he was gone. All they wanted to do was go play in the woods. Karu had begged and begged Tsoru to allow them to go and he had finally relented. The only condition being that they stay close to the cottage. He had been so happy, but his chicken of a twin brother was wary of leaving. He goaded him again and again until he agreed in his usual quiet tone.

Oh so happy they had been as they toyed with the many animals of the forest. But quickly things went wrong. The sky turned a reddish color and the animals fled as quickly as possible. Their sense being far more acute than the two boys. Suddenly gusts of wind kicked through the area as the great beast descended. In an instant the twins were lifted into the air by the gust, higher and higher they flew until one of the many laws of the world kicked in, and they plummeted to the ground. Haru released the last bit of sound he'd ever make in the form of a sickening scream as his body hit the ground. Karu on the other hand wasn't granted an instant death. No, for whatever reason the gods had decided that he was to live for a few moments longer in his broken state. He crawled with all of his might, dragging his broken legs behind him.

The last view he ever saw was the smoldering remains of their makeshift cottage and the tear-filled eyes of his older sister...

Aila looked upon the smoldering cottage and the broken body of her precious younger brother. Her eyes were red from the tears, and yet they seemed to be moving erratically. He was back. That dark being that had plagued her childhood, he was back to take what was left. To leave her in the same loneliness that had nearly destroyed her so long ago. All of her strength, all of her practice, the requests, and the weapons. For everything she had gained since her parents death it all meant nothing. Her magic surged as tears turned to rage. She looked towards town, noticing the almighty dragon in all of its glory.

She turned her back on her past and the dark figure that plagued her vision. Her hands reached up to pull the hood of her cloak over her head and she was off in a burst of black magic. The last creations of her older brother would spell the end of this beast.

Aila stopped when she noticed Lance and Yue. While in her heart she was overjoyed to see that they were alive, the veil of anger that had overtaken her wasn't so easily lifted. Her magic surged about her small form violently. She wouldn't let this thing kill one more person. The blackened sword slid from its sheathe, silently showing her allies that she was prepared. She didn't expect her shaky voice to be good for morale, and so she would mourn silently for now.

So the three mages had departed from their previous task to come fight the flaming one, how would they fare? This dragon was unlike the others in destructive terms, he was a very prideful dragon. He was the most destructive one but in a way the four were equal in power. It would require three mages for each most likely, but this dragon wasn't just strong the other mages had gotten stronger. They had absorbed the minions power tenfold, it was very impressive however Draco was not afraid whatsoever. These mages were up for a real fight today, would they prevail? These mages had conviction and a reason to win but Draco would not be intimidated by such things instead he swept his claws at the three of them as his claws lit aflame however this was not lie the minions, as his claws lit aflame he sliced through trees like butter. The shock wave sent other trees flying across the fields and forest, these mages were sure in for it today.

”Lance, I sense two magical powers heading this way. One seems to be an A rank or so, and if I'm not mistaken the other is Aila.” Lance looked down to the ground and sure enough there was Yue already yelling up him. ”It looks bad...” Lance gazed at the dragon stunned by the massive size of the beast. ”Lance? Are you ok? You just stopped talking.” The sound of Moki's voice broke Lance of his trace. ”Ya, I'm fine, but that beast, though tainted with hatred and evil, resembles Luxscanti. She was much more longer, and beautiful than him but its all there. How can something as loving as her be so destructive.” Aila appeared close to the three, meaning Magnolia's defense team had arrived. The dragon must have noticed the power of the three mages since it started to attack them on site. As it and dozens of tress flying at them Lance jumped into the air. Moki knew the drill, his wings shot out and the two were air born. I'll give you two an opening make it count! We have to protect the town!”

Moki and Lance flew towards the dragon at full speeds. The trees flew at the group they were numerous but pretty easy to dodge. As they flew through them Moki flew close to a large one allowing Lance to push off giving the two a boost in speed. As they neared the dragon Moki flew slightly higher and slowed down. Lance wanted to keep a decent distance away from the dragon, so they stayed close to 60 feet away. Lance held out his hand summoning a magic circle. A blast of light flew out, if it struck maybe its second ability to by the group some time.
