Prepare for War! (Open to All)

Today was a peaceful day in the town. the breeze was blowing and the sun was shining. It was the perfect day to most until the sky began to turn to black. The wind began blowing like a hurricane and lightning struck buildings. The sky began to swirl and many flying figured appeared in the sky, this was something unexpected. The creatures flying in the sky were dragons! These were only about ten to fifteen feet tall but there were around 35 of them. 25 were smaller and 10 of them were slightly larger and appeared more ferocious. The dragons began attaching themselves to buildings while others attacked citizens. People were running and screaming while others began to fight back however they were no match for these dragons.

The dragons roared flames into the sky to show power as the wrecked everything in sight. This was almost like an apocalypse today, who would save these poor people? Who could stop these dragons and save the town? The only answer could be the mages of this town's guild. They would have to rise up and fight these dragons, however little did they know, this was just the beginning. But for now they would have to focus on the matter at hand, the dragons destroying everything they know. Today marked the beginning of war! The mages would have to fight these dragons and figure out who caused this destruction or be destroyed.

The tournament had ended, well never finished would be the best way to say it. The first round, in which Akua had won, was the only round that had happened. He had been excited for the next round, but also tired from the magic he had lost in his first. The woman, Eve Furey her name, had the really pesky and annoying Card Magic, and she kept on using the Lightning spell just so that she could win. It had been annoying, but fun as well. He had won, and she had lived, everyone was happy, especially Akua and Aquanis. Then he remembered, he had yet to tell his mistress about his victory. He slapped his forehead, laughing at how his mother might react to being left in the dark for quite a bit. Would she laugh like he? Or would she go dragon form and blast him with scalding water. He didn't know, but the longer he waited, the higher the chance of burning water sprays. He quickly walked outside of the town of Era and found small lake, with which to pray in. He started the incantation and then heard a roar. Because he was too busy praying however, he dismissed it as another animal, getting angry at who knew what.

And so, he continued the incantation, "O Aquanis, Goddess of Water and Mother of all. I have completed the first task you set me of winning round one of the tournament. However, something has occurred that-. A ball of fire hit the lake and soaked Akua, breaking his concentration, and stopping his prayers. He angrily shouted to the air, while turning to look at where the ball of flame came from. "Okay, who is the one with a death wish. You do not know who you are messing wi-. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" Because, the ball of flame had come from something thought to be gone, not human or animal, but dragon. Dragons had returned, and one had just interrupted Akua during his prayers.

Akua smiled to himself as the dragon that had shot the fireball was watching him, flying ever closer to shoot more fire at him. "Well, he did interrupt me. I guess he's the one I have to destroy." Stuck against creature thought to have left the world long ago, Akua was stuck fighting them, one at a time. Most had left to go to other areas, but a few remained, five to be exact. four of the smaller ones and a bigger one. Akua had to fight five dragons, legendary creature of untold power. The only last words to escape his lips before battle were, "This'll be fun."

The dragons roared throughout Era, they were destroying even the Magic Council headquarters. The rune knights could do nothing but stand and watch. Then a few dragons targeted a mage, he seemed very powerful. The bigger one swooped towards him about to tackle him and after that the others would swarm and try to roar fire at him one at a time. The bigger one wanted to eat this young mage but the others just wanted to scorch him. He was up against five dragons, would he survive this attack? After he defeated these five dragons he must be prepared for more will come, even the other mages in Era couldn't defeat them. Even as a Raven Tail mage would he be the hero in this town?

The biggest dragon was not necessarily the leader of this small group, as Akua had briefly thought. The smaller beasts were firing balls of fire at him one at a time, trying to weaken him as the larger one went down to tackle him. They obviously had no idea of the powers of Akua. Some Rune Knights were watching around and signalled that they wanted to help him, but he merely shook his head. His spells had been upgraded to become proper, strong God Slayer spells, and he had yet to fully test them out. His magic powers had returned after sleeping earlier that morning, so he was ready to fight. He waved the men away and rolled his eyes as they stayed to watch him. If someone wanted to watch him, that was fine, as long as they didn't interrupt him. He started his assault by first using Water God's Slicer to attack the four smaller dragons, attacking each one twice with the arcs. And then, whispering the final spell, a large hand of Water shot out of his own and went straight towards the bigger dragon. Because of the speed of the tackling dragon, it was unlikely that dodging could happen, but Akua wanted to see first. Five dragons, one God, who would win?

The dragons were roaring in excitement, this was a god slayer. They wanted to eat this wannabe god, they were going to show him what's what. Then each dragon was sliced by the water god slayer's attack, they were defeated instantly causing others to come flying. The larger one was choked by the god slayer and tried to claw at him but couldn't/ 3 more dragons came flying towards Akua all smaller ones. The rune knights were impressed and began shooting at the dragons trying to weaken them it worked some but mainly angered them, waves of rune knights began pouring out. The entire magic council army was fighting these dragons. The scene was intense, hundreds of rune knights fighting dragons without a chance, civilians being killed, building destroyed, and 1 lone god slayer taking all the other dragons on. Who would win this fight?

Akua had taken out the small four, and had the big one in his hands. He saw three more small ones, angered at the easy defeat of the other four. They were about to charge at him, until some Rune Knights, their morale boosted at the defeat of four dragons, started attacking the three, trying to weaken them. More and more joined and, in an instant, the entire Era army was fighting those three dragons. They weren't doing much to them, except angering them which put them in danger. Even though his guild was taught to hate the Era guards, Akua wasn't going to let any one of them die. They weren't going to steal his kills. Fighting dragons was a once in a lifetime opportunity, he wasn't going to let this pass. Summoning a Water Blade in his hand, Akua used his grip on the big dragon to pull the beast forward, enough so that it was still high, but Akua could reach it. He jumped , pulling the dragon to him as he did so. He sliced at the dragon, probably defeating it, and then jumped on its body, towards the other three. The grip was still around so he did the same to another small dragon, pulling it forward before slicing it open. Then there were two dragons left, and Akua had jumped on one's wing, waiting for the other to attack it's comrade.

This scene was intense, the god slayer sliced the larger dragon in half and jumped towards another killing it. Water god slayer magic was devastating to these dragons but he would need to replenish, there was a nearby water fountain where he could do this. He then jumped on to another dragon causing his brethren to attack him. The dragon bit at his brother to catch the god slayer proving their minimal intelligence. The god slayer most likely did this on purpose to get him to attack the other. Then another large dragon with two small ones by it's side flying towards the god slayer. The rune knights began to shoot at the dragons by the hundreds actually taking some out, with so much fire on them the dragons didn't know what to do. Out of every town in Fiore, this town was putting up the best fight. The scene in Era was war, a war in which this town had never seen before.

The first dragon, the one that could see Akua, had bitten it's brother, for no apparent reason thought the first. A battle between the dragons ensued, as Akua dodged the bites so that one dragon fought another. They both went down, defeated by each other, but three more dragons approached. Akua was starting to feel a little tired, but he quickly swept aside as he was having too much fun. Aquanis, the Goddess of Water, would want him to take them all out but with hundreds of Rune Knights, some were going to go down, like two of the smaller ones coming towards him. One dragon was left, by the looks of things, which would be boring if it was true. This had been fun, but it was time to end it clearly. His sword was still in his hand and so was his Water Hand, the latter was about to run out. He used his last power of the Hand, to push himself upwards toward the dragon. Taking the blade in both hands, Akua sliced, aiming to cut the beasts head off, and then landed conveniently in lake he had been praying in a while before. Remembering something his mother had told him, Akua drank some of the water, and felt instantly revived. He turned to look at the dragon, hoping to see a head rolling but ready with his blade just in case.

Akua and the beast flew towards each others and he sliced the beast's head off causing the rune knights to get excited. They began to shoot the dragon's in large groups trying to take them down, after all Akua would need some hep. He had successfully taken down several dragons proving his skill quite good. Now the dragons began to sense his true power, three larger ones came towards the lake he was standing in. They were roaring as their wings and claws set aflame. The real battle had just begun. The city was beginning to be taken back by akua ad the rune knights, this made the dragons very unhappy. They would begin to dive bomb the rune knights.

It seemed that this battle was not yet complete, as more of the beasts, larger ones too, had come to try their best against Akua. The claws and wings of the dragons were set alight, making them like beacons of hope in the darkness around them. They began to dive bomb the rune knights, taking them out a few at a time. That gave Akua a chance to rest, to see the true power of the Rune Knights. While the dragons were busy dive bombing the Knights, Akua focused back on the lake he was in, and once again began to pray.

"One more time: O Aquanis, sorry about that rude interruption. Seems that dragons are back in the world." As soon as dragons were mentioned, the water began to stir and, in a plume of water, Aquanis, the Goddess of Water, had arrived on the scene. Aquanis looked to her son and said, "I thought you were lying to me, and I was about to go all dragon on you. But, wow, been a while since any of them were last seen. Last time I saw one, it was on a mountain, back before I had taken you in. It was around the same time I think. Anyway, I think you can take them yourself, don't want to spoil your fun. Enjoy yourself." With a sly smile on her lips, she disappeared, leaving Akua to sit and watch the Rune Knights burn. He wasn't going to help, not until the dragons attacked him, that was his way. He only fought what he had reason to fight,. They weren't attacking him, so he was content to watch the others do it. The reason being was that he didn't expect the Rune Knights to defeat the dragons, leaving them all for Akua, to play with as he saw fit. It would be fun.

The rune knights were now in battle formations shooting in better and larger groups taking out more dragons. Then three of the larger dragons flew down in formation towards Akua, expect they performed some sort of move. They put their wings together and lit their entire bodies aflame, they then began to spin like a flaming drill flying towards him. This was intense, a move that hadn't been shown before. How would the young water god slayer deal with this oncoming attack? It should be easy for him considering he used water and god slayer magic at that. Dragons were no match for gods in this case, but how would he fare? The rune knights were beginning to win back the city and Akua was demolishing, soon in Era the battle would be over. The question was, is Era the only town under attack? Akua would soon find out.

Malacanth ran through the city with fierce determination. Dragons have been destroying the town while he has been sleeping! He needed to at least kill one. This is the greatest challenge he could take and he planned on taking it. Requiping Oathkeeper to his hands he ran as fast as he can. Being aided by his new enchanted clothing. He finally made it to the area that was being hit hardest, seeing that rune knights and what seemed to be a mage fighting them off. Time to jump in was all he could think. He went of at a quick sprint at the dragons, they were pulling some move off and he planned on beating them, even if they were on fire.Name: requip

Akua saw as the dragons set themselves alight and folded their wings in, making them look a lot like drills. The dragons began to spin, completing the drills. This was an attack that Akua had not yet seen and it seemed strong. It looked fun to be honest, so he decided to use two spells to counteract and destroy the dragons. He started by paying the necessary magic power to recreate the two blades of water, before then jumping into the air, towards the spinning dragons. Akua threw his two blades at each dragon on his left and right hand side, before powering up his mouth. He breathed in his magic before shooting out a large jet of water, aimed at the other dragon in the center. If each attack hit, it would probably end the dragons because, if it didn't, Akua didn't know if he'd be able to survive the next bunch. As soon as he landed, he noticed another mage looking like he wanted to join the fray, and defeat some dragons of his own. Akua shouted over to him, assuming his actions were thus, and spoke, "If you defeat any of these dragons, trust me, you'll end up like them. this is my fight, leave and fight your own battles. Don't just steal someone else's kills."

Akua then murdered all of the dragons confronting him with ease proving his might. This fight was almost over that was for sure, just one more round. The dragon's numbers began to weaken as a loud voice began to play around Fiore. Hello citizens of era, if you are hearing this you have surprisingly survived the dragon attack but there is more. The 4 great ones will arise, if you wish to seek fire then travel to Magnolia, if you seek darkness travel to warth woodlands, if you seek wind travel to Shirotsume and if you seek water then go to Galuna Island. Then all of the remaining dragons began to dive bomb the rune knights and two towards the re quip mage. After this, the fight was over and the two mages would feel their power increase massively out of nowhere and then they would black out.

Malacanth couldn't believe his luck, this guy defeated them all without him doing anything! He slowed down to a halt right next to him, lowering his weapon and looking pretty disappointed. " You couldn't save one for me?" He had missed the chance to kill a dragon! How could he sleep through this. He then heard a very loud voice that honestly sounded like, from what he was saying. That he is the master of these dragons. He didn't really care about any of these elements but he knew one thing. One is in Warth and that one would be his. Before he had any time to think further two dragons dive bombed. They seemed to be after him, bad mistake. Jumping up with the aide of his clothes he sent a slash at one with all the strength he could. As the other one got closer, which really didn't give him much time he sent a slash at it's head. Planning on meeting it head on, he was stupid that way.

Akua saw as the other man attacked the other two dragons, something he'd told him not to do but, before he could attack, he heard a voice. the voice spoke of stronger dragons, which sounded awesome to Akua. The elements were Air, Water, Fire and Darkness. Darkness sounded fun but Galuna was a strange island he may never again visit. If his only chance was now, he would have to go there. Besides, fighting a fire dragon would be too easy and not fun, as well as the fact that Akua wanted to see which was stronger: Dragon or God. He used the swords in his hands to finish off the rest of the dragons but, when he was about to attack the other mage, Akua felt a strong surge of power inside him, a strange feeling of ultimate power which was unlike anything he had ever felt. And then, as if by magic, Akua felt strangely tired and blacked out, feeling an enormous boost in strength.

As he finished his attack he dropped his blade. Why was he so tired all the sudden? He could barely stay up, it wasn't like he fought very hard. Malacanth dropped to his knees, power seemed to be surging through him. It felt good but why could he barely get up if he felt so powerful. He fell the rest of the way face first. His eyes were growing dim and he could barely keep up. As he finally fell into unconsciousness he felt unstoppable.
