Travel form Era to Magnolia

Lance and Moki had been having a blast in Era, he had met and fought somet strong people. The tournament was still going on but he knew that if he didn't train he would get left behind by Ardere, Nix and Aila. He wanted to be C rank before he crossed paths with anybody. He wanted to become a star player for Fairy Tail, so he needed to train intensely. He knew that if he didn't show some improvement that he would be destroyed. Moki wasn't too thrilled about leaving but he was ok with the idea once Lance promised him lots of candy and fish when they got back to Magnolia. He packed up most his bags later at night so that he wouldn't be disturbed. He didn't want to have any weird goodbyes so he wrote personal goodbye notes to each person, Ard, Jin, Aila, and Nix. He had Moki fly him to each of their hotel rooms where he left the note outside their doors. He hoped to see them each again soon. Nix might not be welcomed in Magnolia but he was sure that he would see the others there soon. Moki had to buy one more toy and they grabbed a late dinner before they were heading out, making their way back to Magnolia.

They pushed through the crowded streets, past the Dragon Cafe where they had lunch with Ard and Jin the first day they were there. The bar that him an Ard had cleaned out was only a few blocks away form that. It was odd how he was only in Era for a week or so but already had such fond memories of it. He couldn't wait to return back to there one day and being a true dragon, dull of power. Him, Jin, and Ard had already planned on doing request together later on, but he hoped to one day be able to fight beside the others. They may not be in Fairy Tail but you never know when you need some strong friends for help.

As he got to the edge of Era there was less people and tents. The lights from the city can be seen for miles away. They continued into the dark woods. He knew that the trip would be long and boring but he needed to take care of things. Besides getting stronger and doing request he needed to find a new home for him and Moki to stay at. They had taken off from Magnolia almost immediately as they got there, he needed to learn more about the city he was making his new home.

He walked through the woods at the late hour with Moki sleeping on his back. He wanted to get to Hosenka before they laid down to rest. If he pushed through he should planned on getting there close to five am. He would take power nap and wake up at 10 to continue their journey. He didn't want to waste any time. Last time though the walked this way they almost got jumped so he was on watch waiting for something to happen.

AS he walked through the woods he couldn't help but wonder how he would train. He didn't know if he wanted to magically or physically become more fit. Jinchu had been able to overwhelm him in a close range without the help of lightspeed. He didn't want to rely only on his magic power, it was a bad habit to get into. He wanted to become more self reliant. He was stronger than the average mage that was for sure, and his natural reflexes were close to that of a cat. There was no doubt in his mind it was that he just needed to get his body to become strong enough and fast enough to handle it. It's one thing to see and act on it but another to blocking. Though training his magical power would offer him a good power base. He had ideas for some new spells, some that would give him quite the edge in a fight that was for sure.

Hosenka was in the distance, he could see the glow from miles away. Since it was so late and most of the guild was in Era he decided that he would cut threw. He had learned some spells to get away quickly if need be, so persuader were no longer an issue to him. He knew that spells were the backbone to any mage, and if he wanted to get more powerful spells and have his name known around Era, he was going to have to create some pretty impressive spells that would make people have to watch. He had to work hard to get to C rank, Nix, Aila, and Ardere were already there, he wasn't going to be left behind. He had plans and being some mediocre mage left just the memories of those around him wasn't what he wanted. He wanted people to know his name from one country to another. He would become The Dragon of Fiore. He walked through the city seeing a few people passed out drunk from the bars and casinos, along with some rather questionable women stood on the corner. This was the part of Hosenka that Lance hated the most, and it was the side that he seemed to remember the most. Of course he loved to party here, there was no better city, but the filth that came with that was unfortunate. He put the miles behind him and the city until he found a small clear area in the woods a bit away from the path surrounded by bushes, the perfect place to sleep on the road. He laid out his tarp on the ground and unrolled his sleeping bag and put his pillow over his sleeping bag, nestled Moki beside him and passed out.

He woke up a few hours before he planned too but he heard something walking close by Moki was still passed out asleep but he could hear a horse and carriage walking near. The path was a little while away from where he slept so he doubted that they would even her him if he snored or anything. He closed his eyes and drifted back to sleep. It was lighter than the deep sleep he got at night but it was the time he enjoyed the most In these dreams he was awake enough to control what he was doing. He imagined Luxscanti back never leaving him. He learned so much more as was one of the wizard saints. He dreamed another hour or so until he decided he needed to wake up.

He gathered up their stuff and woke Moki. He was going to fly them the rest of the way to Oak and Lance would walk to Clover where they would stay the night. In the morning they would make out for Magnolia. They were so close to home he could taste it. Moki slowly gained altitude they higher he went to more Lance dozed off. He picked up the camp site in a slight daze while Moki woke up. He got to sleep now while Moki carried him, it was a nice change of pace. He loved to take naps while flying always made him have dreams of when Luxscante fly with him on her back. He was nodding in and out, he was about to go and they had only been air born for a few minuets. "Hey Moki, I'm about to fall sleep wake me up if anything happens ok?" "Okie Dokie Lance, I might drop you to see if you are paying attention."

The wind rustled through his hair he watched at the trees became smaller and smaller the clouds seem to be monumental today Above the clouds their trails of vapor seemed to become fluffy and looked like cotton candy. It puffed up and made small mountains in the skys. It was a pleasant sight to take a nap too. He couldn't ask for better napping weather. He knew that Moki was joking on dropping him or it would be the last thing he ever did. He closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep. He could pay attention to the first part of his dream, it was the same as most his dreams. He wakes up in a forest. His head has cuts and bruises his bone in his arm is snapped in half and jetting out from his elbow. He was bleeding badly and could hardly move let alone stand. Then a great shadow appeared above him, followed by a bright light. This was his earliest memory, his first time meeting his "mother".

As his dream went of he remembered her healing him so that his life was no longer on the line. If he wasn't left like that he would surely have bleed out. In his dream now he wakes up i the middle of the forest. He has never been to this part of the forest, the trees all look different. The air here smells stranger, but it was still beautiful. There were hundreds of fireflies flying in the night air. Lots of them fly in and out of the tree branches making each tree look like a Christmas tree. He was alone again but this time his injures were gone. The dream continued with him walking through these new forest still the fireflies gathered everywhere making the place illuminated even in the dead of night. Soon the forest broke apart and there was a large cliff overlooking another larger forest. There she stood, towering over the trees. Her scales shimmered giving off a soft glow similar to a night light.

She was beautiful and Lance fell in love with her at first site. He walked over to her and sat down. The view from the cliff was dark and scary but having her beside him made him feel at ease and peaceful. He rested beside her and just stared off into the abyss, looking at the fireflies down below dancing in those tree tops. It was almost like paradise up there with her. Nothing to touch him, nothing could harm him, he was home.

As his dream continued Moki had flown from Hosenka all the way to Clover. It was farther than Lance expected Moki to fly that was for sure but when Moki landed he stayed true to his word and dropped Lance when they were a few feet off the ground. The landing jolted him from his dream and left a nasty bruise on his leg. "what was that for Moki? And where are we? This doesn't look like Oak. Are we near Clover? There are far too many mountains in this area to not be Clover." If Moki had flown them this far then they were almost home, it wasn't even two o clock yet. If Lance hurried they could make it back to Magnolia with day light to spare. He scoped Moki onto his back and took off down the path to Magnolia.

It turned out that Moki flew him to the halfway point of Clover and Hargeon. He flew far today. He was going to need to rest for awhile, but Lance didn't mind at all. They were almost home. He could smell the sea breeze in the air around him. Hargeon was a nice little town but he was ready to get to Magnolia that they didn't stop at all while cutting through the town. Soon the y were back on the path to home. The sun was starting to get lower by the time they reached Magnolia. It was almost as exciting to see it this time as it was last. The two bolted into the city gates and headed straight to the guild hall.
