| Character Template Persona Name: Jaycalyn Del-lee Alias: JD, and Crow Gender: Male Age: 18 Birthdate: 02/03 Sexuality: Straight Special Characteristics:-Around his neck is a pair of oversized white and red headphones that attach by wire to a music player secured to his right arm. -Both of his arms are covered in tattoos. The left arm has horizontal tallies on the outside of his shoulder going down towards his elbow. The left arm has horizontal tallies on the outside of his shoulder going down towards his elbow. Each tally represents a time he had to take life for one reason or another. Currently there are seven (7) lines of ten (10) tallies each, showing a total number of seventy (70) times he had to kill. -His right arm carries the birthdays of his mother, his grandmother and his two sisters along with his own birthday. On the lower part of his neck right above the collar bone on his left side he has the name of his art E.O.N.E-Last but not least JD has quite the little singing ability, he gets compliments on it when he goes around singing the lyrics to his favorite song. Personality: Jaycalyn Del-lee is often seen smiling and grinning, and letting his mind work wonders. He enjoys milk with strawberries, a weird combo but it fits with his weird persona. JD is quite reckless when it comes to other powerhouses, that are considered to be more of a threat than him and it shows how competitive he can be once given a good drive. He loves fighting and dreams of being the strongest by fighting of all time. JD has a natural aptitude for battle and street smarts, with pretty good knowledge over magic as well as martial arts. He tends to be mouthy and disrespectful and has a penchant for making enemies and rivalries. His defiance to backing down is a big part of him, he does things out of his core conviction. He is not afraid of flipping someone off for challenging that, or flipping someone off for any reason for that matter. Sometimes JD talks in a sarcastic tone, and in general he is a pretty sarcastic and witty guy but only does it out of humor and/or annoyance. Jay is a honorable person, and respects the dead a great deal. Every time he has to take life, he will honor his opponent by closing their eyes and saying a small little prayer for them. He is not completely reluctant on taking life and it will do it, if necessary. He can be rather blunt with things, and likes to tell people straight up about how he feels. To him there is no reason to hide certain feelings and emotions and rather get it out from the start. JD is rather loyal and at times compassionate to others. If someone has rarely got on his friends list, they will have his loyalty but they have to earn it. JD has no desire to fight to protect anyone and only fights so he can be strong so he says, although it shows that he cares deeply for his mother and two sisters. JD can be very laid back at times, and likes to go with the flow when he's not pumped for a fight or anything. He likes to speak in rhymes and in song, and is mostly seen with his headphones on jamming to any kind of music. When he is like this he is very relaxing and carefree and sometimes upbeat. Music- According to JD music is the universal language. And he considers it one of the most powerful and influential things known to man. He always has his set of headphones on or around his neck for is constant need to either "Jam, rock or melo out of life."
Fighting- JD loves the general aspect of fighting itself, have it be to win or lose although he loves to win. JD likes to watch fights and just as much participate in them even for little reasons. He would start a fight for the smallest and petty reason there is. He loves a good fight, something worth while. Most times you will hear him say. "The toughest fights are the best ones."
Getting Stronger- This can go along with his love to train and fighting. The reason why JD loves to fight win or lose, is because he knows he's only going to get stronger from it. Of course if he loses a fight he is going to analyze why, and make sure it doesn't happen again. But he will make every lost a learning aspect instead of just stressing out over it. Most of all JD loves the feel of accomplishment when getting stronger, of getting better at something.
Alcohol- JD isn't shy of getting drunk or tipsy and have some spare bottles in his home or at a local pub or inn. JD is mostly relaxed unless angered, in fight or trying to start one. Sometimes he just likes a good time, and alcohol tends to do this for him. Letting out how people truly feel and doing things they would never do sober, JD loves it and dwells in when he gets the chance. It also works in his favor not matter how drunk he gets he never gets hungover.
Freedom- The aspect of being free and being able to do what you please in the world is something JD admires greatly. He loves the thought of freedom and being who you want to be and doing what you want to do. Of course not killing and stealing, but JD admires the free world. Where anyone can be themselves.
Dislikes: - Spoiler:
Weakness- JD detests the sight of weaklings, and weakness. He wants nothing to do with people who would rather give up then fight. He sees that as nothing more then weakness. He tends to be unforgiving for people who beg for their lives and cry mercy, although he will let the live. JD wants nothing to do with them, and will toss them to the side without looking back
Closed Mindedness- JD is a very opened minded fellow, never really putting negative input on a idea and never refusing to listen or try something new. But he hates people that will quickly cast off ideas or his taste in music, just because they are not used to it. He prefers people who are alot more outgoing, and willing to try different things. Not the ones who are to closed minded to do so.
Traditions/ No Change- Most people dislike change, where as JD dislikes no change. He feels certain societies need to move on with past traditions and things like that. He views it also as a form of closed mindedness. When things just refuse to change because they fear it. He likes to adept to modern times and old times, enjoying both. But dislikes rules and laws and traditions saying this has be this way just because. JD believes unless under a certain necessary restriction that all towns and villages should adept to the new while keeping the old.
No Freedom- Just like his love for freedom, JD hates no form of freedom. He has seen towns and villages being run by one ruler and it in shambles and a disgrace. He doesn't like the fact that in other places one can't do what they please, and sometimes JD will fight for it, just so he can throw a big middle finger to whoever the ruler is.
Motivations: Simply being the Stronger- JD is pretty straightforward when it comes to this. He only wants to get better and stronger that's the only motivation he needs and the only one he has. He doesn't have a sob story on how he should get stronger for his family and friends. JD just wants to be strong for him. The safe keeping of his family- The only reason JD is where he is now, is because he joined Mugen. IF he joined them then his family would be left unharmed even there whole village would be left untouched. That alone would keep JD going for the seven years he put into Mugen. As he got jewels he had them sent to his mother, sisters, and grandmother by secretive means. Everything he has done, even being taken into slavery was for his families safety. Fears: JD fears one thing more then anything else the lack of music in the world, music has been a big part of his life and it will never die to him. But he does fear that it will one day just disappear although highly unlikely this is JD's biggest fear. He also fears Gouken would go back on his word, and have his family hurt and killed. Even worse being taken in. He put seven years of his life to Gouken so this wouldn't happen. And often says he fights only for himself but deep down in truth, he fights for his true family. And hopes they never have to come close to harm. Aside from music, this fear is hidden and never shows it. So thats why he says the lost of music is his biggest one when it really is this. General Appearance Height: 6"1 Weight: 145 Hair: Brown and kept short Eyes: light brown Skin Tone: Light Appearance: JD stands at a very modest 6'1" and weighs about 145 pounds - all of it is toned muscle. This slender form is often taken as a sign of weakness by those who don't know his capabilities, but his friends and comrades know that a surprising quickness and strength hides within his frame. His brown hair is cut in a style called a "buzz-cut" and that small amount of hair is barely visible under a black skull-cap with a red bulls-eye on the front. His light brown eyes are almost the same color as his tan skin, which makes them somewhat disarming should he begin to stare at someone. In both ears are a couple of piercings that Kaen has designed himself, but the skull-cap covers all but the bottom few. The charms that show when his hat is on are mostly ornate silver rings that dangle from his lobes and lower ear. He usually wraps a hoodie or shirt around his waist. He wears a black, sleeveless shirt that seems almost skin-tight, revealing the finely toned muscles beneath. Both of his arms are covered in tattoos which were described earlier. Along with that are black cargo pants and white sneakers. Guild Guild: Raven Tail Tattoo: Left Shoulder Rank: D Magic Primary Magic: E.O.N.E - Enlightenment of Natural Energy Secondary Magic: N/A Caster or Holder: Caster Description: It is proven that one's inner ki is a purer form of magical energy, it being raw magical power. The method of E.O.N.E uses one's inner ki along with the energy that derives from nature itself to create powerful magic techniques. But because of it's style users aren't really looked at as mages but rather martial artists. The style had long gotten rid of the traditional movements and forms and has instead been taught so that each successor could incorporate it into their own fighting styles as a way to advance the art. Essentially, E.O.N.E uses the "quality, not quantity" approach, as the art relies on having a very refined and pure magical energy, even if not much in amount, instead of enormous quantity of unrefined Ki, the breathing method is the key to purifying the magic to be used, similar to how only pure uranium can be used to create an atomic explosion. The focal point of breathing is Yin of inhaling (negative charge) and Yang of exhaling (positive charge). To be simpler taking in natural energy and letting it out along with your's along with it. As such creating a perfect balance of to drastically empower abilities. It is because of this that EONE is called the magic art of "Perfect Balance." Strengths: EONE is based on close frontal combat with only limited ranged options. But because of this EONE has developed many techniques and methods that make close combat very lethal against them. Using simple spells to empower speed and strength to quite fearsome levels. And as the user advances in the art, using spells that not only damage but can cause devastating effects such as disrupting the flow of attacks and stunning. Also creating powerful defenses along with the offense. In JD's opinion the biggest strength EONE has is its ability to be original, creative and adapt. Weaknesses:EONE is a formless style, but it does require a strong body to utilize effectively. One has to be able to give and take blows, to know how to properly use EONE. Sp physicality is a must when it comes to this magic style, if not then it is useless. Along with outside body the inside has to be strong as well. The biggest factor to EONE is the breathing technique, if a simple breathing pattern is wrong and JD's inner pure Ki is scrambled in some way the spell he is using can not be used and will blow up right in front of his face. Although it seems simple, the natural energy being taken it, has to be perfectly synchronized with the user's own power. They both have to be perfectly aligned, if not EONE can be fatal to it's own user. Such as causing severe internal damage. It takes months of the proper breathing technique to sustain this weakness. The user's body will also slowly start to turn to stone. Extra History: Part 1 - Spoiler:
Jaycalyn Del-lee was born straight from the middle class of Hosenka Town. The town known for its festive's and night life. JD was being born to a pretty upbeat and close in family and his birth was right after his mother's birthday. He was born on the 2nd of march at 12:01 am, while his mother's birthday was the 1st of march. So of course his family had to rush to the hospital since her water broke while they were out. For his birth his father wasn't there, he had already made his decision to leave his family behind. But JD's grandmother, his aunt and uncles were there to support his mother Adelle.
From then on Adelle and his grandmother Maria tried to make life easy for him. But JD was a very active child, his constant need to mess in things and cause trouble. By the time JD was four he already had a small reputation for being a problem child. It wasn't that JD was mad, or sad or angry this was just the way he was. He was innocent minded and felt if he had the instinct to do something, he should just do it. Quite the mind for a four year old. But Adelle could tell JD was naturally a good hearted person, everytime he was out in the back yard he would bring back dead bugs in his hand while tears falling from his face showing his mother. He was very sensitive to death when he was young, being effected from seeing the smallest critters die. He hated the stories his Grandmother read to him, where the animal ends up hurt. Stating he never wanted to hear those stories again.
When JD reached the age of six, going out back to the forest with his mother or grandmother was one of his favorite things to do. Every afternoon they would go out to the forest and he would get see his new acquired friend Mookey which was a small black crow. Why he called this bird mookey even his mother can't figure it out. But it seemed him and the little crow had a connection, JD made a small little tune and mookey would always come to it this was his first show of appreciation towards music. JD fed him bird seeds by hand and they would go walking around until JD had to leave to go home. After a couple of weeks, JD and his mother planned to take mookey home for good as a house pet at first Adelle was not for it, but JD constantly mentioned it to the point where she finally gave in. They went out to there usual spot JD whistling his tune for mookey to come, only for mookey to not come at all. JD instantly got worried and the tears could be seen already. They spent two hours looking for mookey, and when they found him he was on the ground not breathing. JD bent by mookey's side, and shed tears for him and using the dirt on the ground to mark one tally mark on his left shoulder. It was after this that JD's many fights with other kids started, and he adopted the nick name Crow from his mother and grandmother.
Two years have passed since then, and JD's twin sisters were born Amelia and Naomi. So now they had a full family of his mother, grandmother, Amelia and Naomi along with him. From the start JD and his sisters had a great relationship he would sing to them both at night so they could fall asleep, and he often fell asleep right next to them being tired himself. During the day JD would tell them made stories and show them bugs he had kept around, and they always enjoyed it for some odd reason. But aside from this JD's fights with other kids continued, even under his mother and grandmother's sight. By eight years old JD was considered the toughest kid in there town, and always won his fights. Because unlike other kids who wanted to use the fancy karate they learned, JD used any by means necessary to win. When it came to talent and strength alone he would best all of his opponents. He took pride in winning and fighting, even adapting his own finishing move called "Mookey Punch!!" which was a simple fist to the face to end the fight.
Soon the little Crow caught the attention of the karate master at their small town, he was the won who trained all the kids JD was beating up. He approached JD once while he was shopping with his mother, and mentioned the fighting which caught Adelle by surprise. But the master reassured her that JD would soon learn his lesson if he join his dojo, at first Adelle thought it as a bad idea, but after his careful explanation on how learning martial arts will discipline him. She agreed, plus it would be free. The next day JD had to be there bright and early, he was there on time even earlier then expected. He caught a glimpse of the janitor cleaning the place up, and they made eye contact for a second but they both quickly looked away. A second later then master came showed JD around for a moment he thought this was alright, until he realized what he would be doing. Cleaning. He was given a mop and was wiping the floor alongside the janitor for the whole day, with the other kids laughing at him. This continued for a month, without JD speaking a word to his mother or grandmother. He thought they would never believe him, so he just did it. He mopped, wipped, brushed, and cleaned everything always alongside the janitor.
After the month JD arrived early like always, this time the janitor came up to him the first time they actually spoke to each other in the month. The next words from the janitor would catch him off gaurd."Kid do you really want to learn the arts?" he asked, at first JD wa hesitant what could a janitor know he thought. But he shook his head yes anyways. From that point on the janitor would teach him basics while cleaning, he taught him the flaws of this dojo and sticking to form. He was teaching JD a wide assortment of things, from footwork, to striking, and grappling. Everything he needed to know about the basics of martial arts. What the janitor told him to always remember was "To be like water, water is formless. Place water into a cup it becomes the cup. Water can soothe, crash, become hard and soft. Water adapts to all. Be like water." At first JD thought this guy was crazy, but the more he thought about it the more in made sense. And he actually followed this principal for the rest of his life.
After months of training and cleaning, a small tourney was coming up. And Adelle was looking forward to JD joining. Kids there age from other schools would be joining the tourney from other towns and villages. Of course JD was expected to join and be in it, but the master was never planning on letting him fight. The tourney started and already his students were being embarrassed. Losing fight after fight to the other schools. There were down to one last match before being taken down, and leaving one fighter left JD. He had no choice but to play JD win or lose. The first round JD was in he dominated his opponent, and gave his opponent a thumbs up afterward. Even the crowd was taken back by how good JD was. By his third match the crowd was already cheering ~Crow! Crow! Crow!~ started from his mother and grandmother. Within the next few fights Crow had won the championship single handedly. But gave it to the janitor that trained him. Stating he doesn't need it.
One year later JD was out of the karate dojo, but visited his sensei alot. Since he was the new dojo owner and the other guy lost his job. JD mostly helped with overseeing the others, while taking private lessons with the old man. Things were looking good for JD as of now. But that all would change when, some bandits attacked their small village. JD was running back towards his house, wanting to protect his family but he was already caught by some bandits. Of course he fought back and was able to take down grown men, just about four of him. As the chains they were using continued to be wrapped around him. The more he fought the more chains came and just stopped him. To the point where JD was covered in chains and being dragged on the ground, but JD accomplished something. The bandits were already fed up of dealing with him, that they didn't bother going deeper into the village where his family was. So he let that make his final decision, to let himself be taken. He was crying heavily but he knew this was the right thing to do for his family. But the next thing he was would haunt him, he watched as they stabbed his master to death right before him. Right before the chains connected to their horses and rode off, taking JD and others along with them for slavery.
Part 2 - Spoiler:
Wherever the bandits were taking them, the ride was long and pretty painful. They were being dragged on the ground, from horses it was a good thing JD was covered in chains it added to his protection from the rocky pavement. But he couldn’t help but feel bad for the others, who were getting severely injured. There were many nights, that JD was plotting escape and trying to talk with other to devise a plan. But the one guy who had a plan in mind and wanted to go through with it was killed the next day for being too noisy right infront of JD. JD’s eyes went wide with shock when he saw this, and more tears started to fall. He couldn’t believe he was in the middle of this, he couldn’t believe these people. They were just heartless they killed his master, they took lives of some of his friends, they just killed infront of him. This was they very fist moment JD wanted to take life with his own hands, he wanted the power to do so. The power just to be strong. There was a lot of nights, where JD cried over anger, sadness, and sometimes even madness, missing his mother and sisters even his grandmothers stories. He thought he was going to die, soon so why not just go crazy. A total of nine days passed, with many stops and little meals and drink. Just barely enough to survive.
They finally came to another stop, JD felt relieved by this. But he didn’t know they reached their total destination. As soon as they unchained him, JD would bite someones neck off no matter if they killed him or not. He was surrounded by bandits and a new guy he never seen before, or won’t see again for that matter. He was planning on dying anyway. As soon as they unchained him, JD rushed towards one of the bandits that stabbed his master and slammed a heavy sharp rock on his neck punching skin and blood gushing. Within the next moment a large hand was over his face and slammed him back to the ground. The new guy holding him in place. “We got a Live one!!” he said loudly as if this was a game. “Kill em.” Was his next words, and JD closed his eyes ready to embrace death. But he felt no pain but heard the gunshots, all of the bandits were killed when JD opened his eyes. He was in shock of course, he didn’t know what to think.
“I told em to keep my property with more respect than this. I gave them money for their food and proper transport, not with chains and horses. You really can’t work with people these days you know?” he said towards JD who was still in shock.
The next couple of days passed and JD’s life would be evident. Cleaning and maintaining with many other slaves, even some building a new large house. It was full laboring work, JD was still fighting still trying to escape. Trying to find out ways, making plans he would never give in to this life. It wasn’t that bad here to say the least, they were clothed barely and they were fed. They had to be in good shape in order to build and serve. But they were kept in cells, it was like a jail no freedom. The water was musty and foggy and the food was a little dry and the taste of it, is something you have to get used to. JD was paired in a cell with an older dark skin guy, he had to be at least fifty and he was skinny. But after a few weeks they seemed to enjoy each other’s company. The guys name was Newton, and the thing about was he’s been here a very long time but still planned for escape. That was something JD admired about him a lot, Newtown didn’t know weakness and wanted nothing to do with it.
After a full two years here JD was now eleven years young. He had grown used to the taste, but not the life. He did make the best of it with Newton and other friends he made along here. The gaurds didn’t allow a lot of interaction, but they talked when they could. Newton taught JD a lot about music, showed him melodies and told him about the different styles of music. Most of the times at night, they made beat boxing battles and just some melodies to soothe their souls. JD looked at Newton like an older brother figure. They both believed that there was light at the end of every tunnel, and they vowed that they would escape together.
After a couple of months, JD and Newton were working on bringing cement to the large mansion in the middle of being made. Newton was of old age, so the labor work was getting hard for him to do. JD took most of his portion making it harder on him, but Newton was his dear friend so he didn’t mind. But the load that he was carrying he dropped, and the guard spotted him. Newton’s back was in terrible shape, and JD felt bad he should have taken more. The guard rushed over and without question started whipping Newton adding to the many scars he had already. JD tried to explain, tried to stop him but he wouldn’t stop. Newton was already on the floor, unable to speak as the whip lashed his back again and again. It wasn’t until JD decided to kick his knee hard causing his knee cap to knock out of place, where the guard dropped his whip and sprawled on the floor. JD came to Newton’s side, he didn’t want to lose another friend another close person in his life. But he knew Newton’s time has come.
“You gotta promise to get outa here for us both. Remember kid music is the universal language.” Was Newton’s last words to JD.
Minutes passed till the one JD saw before about two years ago, came by. He remembered this guy’s face almost like it was yesterday. The guy looked uninterested in what the scenario was, but his eyes darted back and forth around the field. JD was on the floor he closed Newton’s eyes closed, and placed his hand on his head and spoke a small prayer for him. A prayer that Newton told him, he wanted to be said at his funeral. He was almost done, when a guard tried to stop him. But JD refused no matter how hard he was hit. He didn’t stop until he was done. The guard gave up, and when JD finished he looked at the guy straight in the eye.
“Are you going to kill me now?” JD asked again ready to accept death.
The leader chuckled. “Been thinking bout it, but no. I think im going to ke…” He was cut off from JD’s bolt like action. He punched a guard in the face, for trying to drag Newton’s body. Two other gaurds came up behind him and grabbed him by the arm.
The one that was hit started to smack him, but he wouldn’t get another one as the leader stopped his hand in the middle of the next hit. Everyone was surprised. The guards stopped and dropped to their knees.
“Apologies your majesty.” They all said at once. But JD landed on his feet, and kneed the one that tried to take Newton’s body in the face knocking him out. The leader laughed out loud. “I like this kid!! I like him!” he said.
“Crow was it? I heard it around from other slaves. And Newton, he spoke of you a lot when I was around him. I’m a lot more perceptive then I look. Haha! You’re the one that killed that pesky bandit a couple of years ago. Yup I don’t forget a face. Listen you may think bad of me because of this, and your dear friend just passed right before your eyes. But I really wish it wasn’t like this at all to be honest. You may not like me now, but you that doesn’t really matter.”
He said turning his back to JD. “Bring him to my quarters later this evening.” He said to one of his guards that stood behind him. JD simply held a rock he was planning on using to stab the guy, with tears falling from his eyes.
Later that evening JD was being brought to the leader’s room, in a large castle. Compared to what JD had been looking at for the past two years, this was quite a sight. But JD payed no mind to material things right now, he simpy hummed a tune in his lips and walked along the chains around his wrists and ankles. They arrived at a large double door, with gold trimmings and a full red casing. The door was opened and the leader was sitting in a high chair as if he was some kind of king. But JD could care less about this stuff.
“Unchain him.” He said.
The guards looked surprised. “But master just bringing him here was difficult, one he was free he was constantly punching the others non stop. The ki…”
“I will not ask again.” He said and the guard did as he was told. As soon as the ankles were free, JD went rushing the leader in the chair.
Only to be stopped by spear meeting his face, it was an older guy from the right. He was wearing golden plated armor, and he was too fast for JD to even see him.
The leader laughed again. “Quite the reflexes he has right? Since when as anyone been able to dodged Mifune like that? At such a young age. He is the one, the successor to my art EONE.” He said humbly.
The one named Mifune looked back at like he was crazy. “Your majesty certainly not this…slave!” he let out with a angry tone.
JD didn’t even care what they were talking about, he wanted to wrap this chain around this guys neck. He used the distraction to his advantage, and rushed forward again getting past Mifune. The leader didn’t even look surprised at this. Mifune was going to stab him, but his movement came to a sudden stop as his golden spear paused inches away from JD’s neck. JD couldn’t move forward aswell, but the leader had his hand up, and his right hand on his arm rest so he could rest his face.
“I do not have to explain myself. I believe this boy has what it takes to become the natural successor of EONE. Now both of you sit!” he said and a overwhelming force came over JD and Mifune. JD couldn’t move forward but he still struggled to using all of his strength. This time the leader looked shocked. “You don’t know when your out matched do you?” he said looking at him. JD was just barely moving forward, at a slow crawl up the stair towards him.
“I will kill you. I will Kill you!!!!!” JD said fiercely, his eyes serious but yet passionate. Tears started to fall as he thought of everything he had so far lost in his life. All the death he witnessed in his young life, the little crow, his master, the one who had his life his taken away right infront of him. Newton. He missed his family , he missed his freedom.
Soon after he passed out. The leader still looked surprised at his actions, and Mifune even looked shocked. “This young one will be much to handle.” The leader said smirking. Mifune sighed. “Yes…he will.”
A few days passed and JD woke up in a large room, in a soft be for once. He got up quick and hit his head on a pole above him. He heard giggling after that, and stayed down this time looking around. He saw four girls in the far end of the room, looking at him. JD soon noticed that he was spotless clean and in new fresh clothes, he actually smelled nice for once in the past two years. He got slowly this time, and came to a stand in the room. The pajamas he was wearing was too big for him, but it was comfy.
”Wher…wha…what is this!?” he yelled out loud. JD wasn’t sure what to feel at the moment. He had no idea where he was, or what this was for that matter. A second passed and Mifune came in the room with his arms crossed and his golden spear on his back. JD saw him and his first instinct was to attack, so he did. Mifune sighed and held out a palm, JD came to a complete stop.
“Will you stop for once please?” Mifune said annoyingly. “Calm down and listen!” he let out in a small yell.
JD stopped trying to move forward. “Where am I?!” he yelled back angrily. With that the girls left out of fear.
Mifune sighed once more “You have been chosen as the next successor to my master’s art and you will oblige him.” He said staring down JD.
“Next succ..what!? What the fuck are you talking about?! If I get two inches within that guy and you, your both dead! Do you know what you guys have done to me!? Do you have any idea!? Huh!?” JD yelled trying to move forward again.
Mifune had a moment of compassion for the young guy.
“Listen for me and my master behalf I apologize for any harm that has come to you, these past years. It was never in our intention to have things this way. That you must understand first. Secondly this slavery business is almost done, we just needed some building built and this was the only way we could get that done. And third you won’t be killing anyone the way you are now.”
Mifune said the last part with a smirk.
JD still looked pissed, but he stoped his movement. “What about Newton?” he asked Mifune
“We gave him a proper burial, master thought you would have liked that. You can go visit his grace anytime you wish.” Mifuen said letting down his hand slowly. “Can I trust that you won’t try to rush me anymore?” he asked. JD nodded in response. Mifune let his hand down, and looked at JD for any sudden movement. JD sat back on the bed, and sighed.
“I just…I just want to go back home.” He said simply.
Mifune looked at him. “I’m sorry but we cannot allow that.” With that the leader
walked in suddenly.
His cape flowing behind him. “He’s awake!” he let out cheer fully. His arms up high. He was taken back by how JD didn’t try to rush at him this time.
“Oi! Has that temper of his finally died out?” he asked looking at Mifune. Mifune nodded yes in response.
“Good good! Crow my name is Gouken! And I have an offer to make you.”
He asked kneeling down to JD. JD barely looked up at him, he was tall guy even when kneeling he was big. His head was bald and full grey beard was on his face. His face was hard though.
“I assume you want to keep your family safe?” he asked him.
JD looked at him with wide eyes. “Don’t hurt them! Please! OR I swear I will..”
“I know I get it I get it, you will kill me. No harm will come to them I promise it, or to that village again. Just aslong as you follow instructions. Ok.”
Gouken said simply to JD, he awaited a response. JD looked at him for a while, and finally shook his head yes.
“Great now we have an understanding! Now we can connect you and I. JD I have chosen you as the next successor to my art of EONE and you will serve under me, for a good couple of years. You will see that with this will bring you power, and many other things.” Gouken said smiling. His large shoulders rumbling.
“You see we are a large and pretty wealthy group of uumm criminals. No were not pesky little bandits, if they do work for us they are the bottom of the bottom. You see we are at the top and well hidden at that, we just work for money and higher power that is all. Think of us as a large gang just with greater rewards.”
He said grinning back up and coming to a full stand again.
“We are Mugen.” Gouken said with that wide smile of his.
Years have passed since JD joined mugen, learning the arts of criminal activity. Taking lives, robbing, many other dark things that JD won’t soon mention. His personality changed along the years as well. He has become a lot more laid back, but still retaining that anger and doing things based on his core conviction. At first JD hated the thought of Mugen, rejecting it and only doing it so his family would be left untouched. But as time went on, he started to like it, he like the part that he as free again to do as he pleased.
He found the many fights he had exhilarating, and soon came to think of Mugen as like a family of sorts. He loved what he was learning from Gouken aswell, they trained relentlessly learning about magic and the methods of EONE. JD bettered his martial arts to be the most feared in mugen. Through the time he quickly just adapted to his new life style that had been forced upon him. He still kept old parts of him though, such as taking life was always a big matter to him. And he tattooed tally marks on his left arm, showing every death he taken part in. On his right was his Mothers, Sisters, Grandmothers, and his birthdays he had that on his arm to always remember them and never forget who he was . But also showing loyalty to Mugen, such as tatting EONE right above his left collar bone.
In recent times JD joined Raven Tail, for a mission for Gouken he is analyze dark guils and other guilds. That’s all he was told to do, which is quite odd to JD as of why he was given something like this.

JD was focused on the task at hand, but he did hear every word asked of him from Azrael. He could tell the guy wasn't the one into saving lives, which made sense since he was a assassin not a savior. He wanted to kill not to protect. But neither did JD, he always fought for himself and only desired to make him stronger. He never fought to protect other or even save them, but when the situation came up he did what he had to do. He did what was necessary. He saw a glimmer of light down the whole, it wasn't to bright but it was enough to attract attention. Perhaps that was where the sound came from, the yelp of help.
"Ambush or liability it doesn't matter to me. Don't get me wrong, I don't fight for anyone but myself. The thought of protecting others never accured to me in the slightest...But I do what is right when I can I am not a heartless coward." JD said in response to Azrael's question, his face was stone cold serious. He had to put more power into his run, to keep a heads up on Azrael who took into the air with his blood wings. Plus he had to take out any prisoner in his direct way, while easy enough they proved to be a nuisance.
As JD began to see a figure he moved even faster, he saw a prisoner about to strike the lighted figure. "What these prisoners fail to understand is!!!" he yelled with a big grin. "Once I took this job, and they set themselves free!!" after that he went into his technique head of lightning, a instant dash skill with amazing speed.
"They were trespassing on my Domain!!!!!" he let out with a fierce roar, sparks of lightning emitting from his fist. As he connected his fist with the opposing prisoner right on his jaw. Sending him flying into a steel wall at the end of the hall, he might as well be dead from the attack. JD landed right infront the young girl, but it wasn't a great appearance. Blood over his hand and a evil look on his face. He looked at her for a moment. "Oi You can't defend yourself?" he questioned her bluntly, his appearance right now was pretty menacing. Almost frightening.
