To the arena!

Augustus was filled with haste. He knew he must get to the arena as soon as possible. Shadow was with Shini because he was being pressured by an evil mage. Augustus wanted to help, but this was too valuable. He was the only person who was representing his guild. He must bring glory to his guild by being recognized in fighting, or even by winning the whole tournament. But now, he needs to focus on getting there. He felt rather uncomfortable since Shadow was not with him. But he knew Shadow will find a way to get there because they were best friends. Augustus pushed through the crowd and jumped over stands, knocking some fruits back to the ground. Things scattered all around his path, making some people shout at him. But he never did stop. He only shouted the word sorry as he zoomed through. As he continued running, shadow magic was starting to course around him. "Shadow Dragon's Cloak!" Augustus shouted as he somersaulted and ran through crowds without being recognized. He was moving at his fastest, trying to get through obstacles. But he never saw a small wire that was on his path. He tripped through it and flew around the sidewalk, his cloak still activated. "That hurts..." Augustus said as he stood back up and dispelled his cloak. He started to jog instead of running so he won't trip again. As of now, Shadow wasn't able to come back. He was most likely busy taking care of Shini. "I hope it's not too late." Augustus said as he ran, time being his opponent.

"This has to be an omen" Aila muttered to herself as she felt the wet drops trickle down from the sky "But that doesn't mean it's a bad omen right? I mean plenty of good stuff happens in the rain...right?" She sighed as she pulled the hood of her cloak over her head. Unfortunately thanks to the wind the rain still managed to hit her face and aim for her eyes. She picked up the pace, this city was far emptier during rainy days than Hargeon. That was the difference between a town of rich people who can afford to stay in and a town of poor people who have to work as much as possible.

She weaved past a small group of people and successfully reached the town gate. A long road stretched before her, she had to walk from here to Era and didn’t have much time to do so. Her brother’s request had been both a blessing and a curse. If it wasn’t for said request she’d still be in Magnolia taking work and chatting with the people. Instead she was walking in the rain to one of the largest tournaments of the year. She thought about turning back and telling her brother of her intentions, but opted to stay on course instead. She was pretty sure that the people of Hargeon would hear and inform him either way.

As she arrived in Shirotsume, she swore that she saw a shadowy cloaked figure like herself but chalked it up to a lack of sleep

Augustus finally reached the exit of Clover and walked a few routes that led to Shirotsume. He walked a long route that was straightforward, making it an easy run. Augustus ran through the the route, seeing a sign that said 'Shirotsume' in it. Augustus was happy that he made it to the next town. But there were more towns that made the distance between Clover and Era. If only Augustus did not have motion sickness, this would've been easier.
