Ardere's Hotel Room [Tourney]

Ardere and Fang were so tired from the long train ride and he was glad not to be motion sick anymore. They both jumped on the bed and slept good for hours, when the awoke the stretched and yawned. He stood up and went to the window and had a good view of the city as well as the arena. Fang ran to the complimentary foods and began devouring them he even called room service for fish and sake. When it arrived they both sat down to sit and drink. Fang was wrapped up in a small robe made just for him, it was a good thing he got Fang approved as a guest rather than a pet. They sat and enjoyed themselves for a little while.

"Hmm, this is familiar..."

Aeon paused, her key in hand, as she looked down the hallway. Mauveine looked up at her. "What is?" "Another Dragon. Ardere's here... and he's rather close."

Without bothering to open her room, she walked down the hallway, her knapsack still on her back, while Mauveine trotted along. Presently, she came to a room, and paused, then knocked on the door twice, before opening it. She was right. This was Ardere's room, and he and Fang had settled down quite nicely. Fang even had a custom made robe. That got a laugh out of her.

"Well, isn't this cute? Hope you guys are having a swell time... it does look like it." She grinned at them and walked into the room, Mauveine apologizing for their 'uninvited entrance'. Aeon only shook her head and laughed again. She sat down comfortably in a chair, while Mauve perched on its armrest, beside her.

"Sooooooo, when did you guys arrive?"

Ardere and Fang were laughing and eating so they were basically having quite a bit of then. Then Aeon walked in and asked them when they arrived and stuff. He smiled and wiped food off of his face. Hey Aeon actually we got here this morning, we were one of the first few to make it to the hotel. We got here early so there wouldn't be a commotion everywhere. Did you two just get here? He didn't think she'd be here so soon but she was his future teammate so this was fine with him the more the merrier in a place like this. He needed allies in the tournament and she was a good one to have so what's the worry?

Fang jumped up and down on the bed because he was happy to see Aeon and Mauve. Come on guys there's food and stuff! We were about to order ice cream! Hey Mauve want some fish? He jumped up again and walked over to Aeon, he then crawled all over her body until he stopped at her should. He then licked her face and smiled. He was definitely a handful that was for sure. When he was done licking Aeon he ran back over to his food and Ardere.

"Yeah, we just arrived. We took the long trek from Magnolia. Isn't that a feat?" Aeon said, in response to Ardere's question. Fang was, of course, as exuberant as always, and Aeon found him climbing all over her. She laughed, but made no attempts to fend him off, until he started licking her face. Well, she was lucky that he didn't keep at it for too long, before returning back to Ardere. As she usually did in response to his antics, Aeon just shook her head.

Mauveine was standing over the plate of fish, staring long and hard at it. At length, a satisfied look on her face, she picked a fork and a knife and managed to get herself a slice. "I assume you guys took the train. Aeon was suspiciously against it," she said to Fang, before helping herself to the fish. Aeon shrugged, obviously not willing to defend herself in that regard, then said, "Looks like all of Fiore is coming to this event. The city's almost a riot. Do you think we're the only ones from Fairy Tail?"

Ardere nodded at the two, they were quite the pair as was Ardere and Fang for that matter. Yeah I regret taking the train stupid motion sickness, a downside of being a dragon slayer apparently. He really hated that train ride and wasn't going to do it ever again even if the train guy said it was a good deal. He put Fang on his shoulder and tossed his casual jacket on as well as his headband. Yeah this place is way too crowded for my tastes and actually I hear a girl names Ren and our good friend Shin are on their way here for the tournament. They couldn't just be the only ones that was impossible.

He closed his jacket and walked to the two with Fang on his shoulders Let's go take a walk, shall we? He wanted to go and get some fresh air around the town, he needed to get out for a bit and see people like he had planned. This was a big place with lots of things to see so why not?

Motion sickness? Aeon didn't suppose she had that... or she couldn't be so sure. She had had a few rides in carriages, but then, those were always conveniently slow. And she'd never moved fast for a prolonged period. Maybe she would also get sick if she ttok a train or something... she shook away the thought. Ardere suggested taking a walk. That didn't seem like a bad idea. Normally, one would have been tired from the journey from Magnolia, but after wading through an excited mob, her magic had her revitalized and ready for more action.

"I don't suppose that's a problem," Aeon said, standing to her feet. Mauveine looked at the knapsack which Aeon had previously carried, then decided not to say anything, and instead took her place on Aeon's shoulder.

"Battle strategy one: know your enemy. At least, from a first glance, there could be some conclusions we could jump to about what kind of people you guys will be up against, even though looks may be at times deceiving."

Ardere opened the door for Aeon and Mauve to let them walk through and then they began walking through the hallway all the way to the stairs. The hotel was beautiful with many workers and mages rushing to their rooms there were even some mages messing with the workers by using magic. It was kind of funny but cruel. So I hear they're gonna let use see our opponent just before the games start. I hope I get somebody cool, what's your whole opinion on this tournament anyways? This thing just seems so crazy and I don't know just weird for me.

He had never done anything like this before so it was okay that he was nervous but he really wanted to win. You could see the will in his eyes he wanted to prove his guild's worth. He was gonna do this for Fairy Tail and kick all their asses.

Aeon smiled gratefully as Ardere held open the door for her. "Thanks." Mauveine was going to comment to Aeon about how looks could be deceiving, about how Ardere might not look it, but he was a gentleman; and then she remembered that Dragon Slayers had powerful senses of hearing, and so kept quiet, mostly out of shyness.

People were all over the place, mages and hotel workers alike. Aeon noticed that some mages were having fun bullying the workers around with their magic. She felt like walking over and attempting to smack one of the oppressing mages across the room, but she was wise enough to know that it would only lead to a fight, and she was not here for that. Turning away from them and trying to focus on something else, she was aware suddenly that Ardere was asking her about the tournament.

"The tournament? Well, in my opinion, human beings have always been bloodthirsty. I think it's cool though. Having to fight someone you've never met before and putting it all on the line is a good way to determine how strong we've become. And the upside to it is that I hear there's no killing. I just want the world to know that Fairy Tail is back. That's what this tournament means to me."

"Good thing we don't have to participate or anything," Mauveine said to Fang, her eyes mostly on the mages who were showing off with their magic.

They continued walking and this place was pretty interesting especially with everyone and all their magics. He wondered what types of different magics people had, he had always had a thing for studying magic when he got bored. He liked to read sometimes when he was in the woods which not many people would expect him to read. Yeah ever since that whole Tenrou Island thing people have looked down on Fairy Tail so now it's time to show them were back in business. Besides there's gonna be a lot of competition here and a lot of different guilds fighting for similar reasons so we'll have to try our best to beat em. He put both of his hands on the back of his head leisurely.

Fang laughed. Naw I'd go out there and beat em all with my fists! Fang did some punches in the air and some kicks to show off. He then did some cartwheels and flips with a karate chop afterwards. He then laughed and climbed back on to Ardere's shoulders, he was a crazy cat as always. Without him they would have no source of entertainment. Then Fang spotted the bar and bolted towards it. I'd like some alcohol. The bartender laughed and told him no so Fang dropped his head down in sadness and went back to Ardere. He patted the little exceed's head and they kept walking.
