Bobbing For Jewelry

Ardere was walking down the streets of Magnolia to go to some Italian restaurant near Petal Street. After a few minutes he reached the restaurant and saw a man standing in front of it. this must be John. He walked towards the man and he then began to speak to him. Hello, you must be the Fairy Tail mage I sent for. See that river right there? That's where I lost it. Just be careful and beware of the eels. He pointed to the river and then warned him. It's a good thing he decided to leave Fang out on this one. About two seconds later the little black exceed tackled Ardere. I found you! He sighed and decided to let him come. Strangely enough Fang was okay with swimming. He just hoped he didn't eat the eels. Just don't eat the eels okay? Fang gave him a confused look. What's an eel? Ardere face palmed. eels are long snake like fish and taste horrible. They shock you if you touch them. Fang widened his eyes and drooled a bit. He sighed knowing Fang was probably gonna try to eat them.

The young mage and the cat jumped into the river after taking a deep breath. Ardere had superhuman capabilities so he could hold his breath longer than most humans. He began swimming to the bottom of the pool and could see something shiny so he began to swim towards it. At about this time a group of four eels came along. Fang immediately bit one and it shocked the hell out of him. He immediately swam back up to the surface and stayed away from the water. Stupid cat always got himself hurt, when they got home he'd put some ointment on him. He hoped he was okay and wasn't crying. He continued to swim and tried to kick the eels away from him but he couldn't so he pulled out his knife. He began to slash at the eels but it was hard underwater. He finally sliced one of the eels almost in half killing it. One down three to go.

He kept slashing at the eels but they kept dodging his blade so he grabbed one shocking the hell out of him making him exhale all of his breath. He swam back up to the surface and took a deep breath and then went back underwater. He slashed at another eel slicing it's head off. Two down two to go. He then kicked the other two and went for the necklace. He tried to swim back up but the eels blocked his path so he kept slicing at them and accidentally dropped the necklace. The eels went after the necklace so he came back up for another breath and kicked off of the wall towards the necklace, in doing this it enabled him to slice one of the eels in half. He then felt something wrap around his leg and it was an eel. It began shocking him continuously but he kept his breath it. He then kicked the eel of of him and kicked it away. He needed to get that necklace. It was important to that guy.

Ardere was still in a struggle with that eel. It just wouldn't let go. At about this time Fang dove it and tackled the eel. He then bit a large chunk out of it killing it instantly. He was in awe that he had done that. They both went back up for air and realized they had dropped the necklace. They both went back underwater and couldn't see anything in sight until they saw a boat with the necklace attached to the bottom of the motor. They both swam back to shore and Fang picked up Ardere. They were flying towards the boat at top speed and they still couldn't catch it. Fang pushed hard and flew up above the boat and dropped Ardere in it. He then hung of the side of the boat and reached over to the motor but the current was too strong so he had to jump back in the boat without anyone noticing. He then jumped over the side and stabbed his knife into the bottom of the boat to hang onto. He then reached for the necklace and grabbed it, at about this time the knife slipped out and he flew deeper into the ocean. He didn't care though, he had the necklace and was happy.

He swam back up to the surface and Fang picked him up out of the water. They flew back to the restaurant soaking wet. It was okay though, they had accomplished their mission and would now get a reward. This was the last mission he needed to do to qualify for a rank up within the guild. He was quite excited, he now just needed to show the master he knew enough spells and such. He and Fang flew back to the restaurant and landed in front of the man handing him the necklace which was in great condition for what it's been through. The man accepted the necklace and handed Ardere a large bag of jewels. Thank you so much. My wife is gonna be very happy and I'm very happy that you did this for me. There's your reward now have a great evening you two. They both walked away and waved goodbye to the man. It was now time to return home and rest. They needed a break from doing all of these requests and such, it was about time they got a vacation soon. Maybe a trip to Akane would suffice, he could bring Aeon and Mauve with him. That could be a lot of fun, but for now he needed to sleep and put some ointment on him and Fang.
