She will never give up.
Yui extremely fears that something might be wrong with her appearance. She would sit in front of the mirror for at least five minutes to check if anything is wrong and fix them because her mother told her to always look perfect. She always looks perfect because of this. Growing up in a rich family, she buys lots of expensive stuff and these include beauty products. Yui loves her friends and will get rid of anyone who dares to hurt them, or even insult them. Because of her love for her friends, if anything happens to them, Yui would probably go berserk and kill the person who cause the problem. If anyone did that, she'd slap the person's face. Yui is a reliable person who knows her responsibilities and does them carefully. Strengths: The mage is able to summon spirits, with varying abilities, which are usually very helpful. If he/she has enough magical energy, then the wizard can have the ability to summon multiple spirits to fight with.
Weaknesses: Celestial Spirit mages require their Gate Keys in order to summon their spirits, and without them, they are powerless. Also, if their magic runs out, they will be unable to summon their spirits and often times faint from exhaustion.

History: Megurine Yui was born into a very rich family and was an only daughter. Her father was the owner of the Megurine Foundation and had tones of Jewels. Her mother didn’t own a business and she was a mage from a guild. Yui’s father didn’t want his wife to be going on dangerous missions, so he made her leave the guild and look after Yui. They brought up Yui to become a very elegant, classy, serene and polite young lady. Her mother also secretly trained her daughter to be a skilled hand-to-hand combatant. Unaware of this, the father focused on business and future plans for his daughter like marriage and such. Yui attend an international school with many other rich children like herself.
At the age of four, her mother suffered a chronic disease and it lasted until she was six. The two years her mother was sick, Yui trained herself to be a strong mage. She also attended a combat training elsewhere although she was extremely young. She could understand elder classes’ lessons and was capable of catching thieves in her neighborhood. Fortunately, the father did not notice this and couldn’t stop his daughter.
A year later, Yui’s father hired a manager for the foundation so that he could look after his family. With her father around, Yui couldn’t do what she used to do and life at home was like a prison. Yui’s father, for his daughter’s own protection, sent two bodyguards with her to school every day, who reported every single thing she did at school. So life at school was pretty much the same. Yui didn’t like this and so she made several attempts to run away, but hopelessly failed.
On her sixth birthday, Yui received 50 million Jewels from a few of her friends as gifts and presents worth more than that. From that age onwards, Yui got interested in beauty and her mother supported her in whatever she wanted. This was like a distraction which faltered Yui’s urge to escape. She stood first in her class and surpassed everyone in sports, too. She was also the most beautiful person in her school. Yui was happy and she enjoyed life for the first time.
But before she could continue her life as it was, something really saddening happened. On her twelfth birthday, her father made a really big celebration. He invited lots of people. Right in the middle of the party, Yui’s mother disappeared. They searched for her everywhere in the mansion but she was nowhere to be found. Yui’s father carelessly dismissed the security guards that evening since there would be a party at night. Yui went outside to search and saw her mother’s body in the pavilion covered in blood. She was assassinated . . . on Yui’s birthday. Yui was so sad and angry. She was crestfallen. The day after the party, they found the assassin who killed her mother. He said that he mistook Yui’s mother for her. She got even madder. They hanged the assassin but that wasn’t enough for Yui. She wanted her mother back. Understanding now that life is a struggle, she decided to struggle on her own without being dependant on anyone anymore. Because mother was killed because of her . . .
So after her mother’s funeral, she ran away from home, successfully this time, and started roaming about in the country, looking for a master. Although she was a mage, she didn't know her magic. With the money she had, she survived a few months. After a while wandering around Hosenka, she found a woman about thirty-something who was a professional Celestial Spirits mage. This was a type of magic Yui had only heard of. She had never seen someone use this type of magic because – as mentioned – she lived the life of a caged bird in the past. So this woman was named Kurenai and she had some celestial keys. Yui pleaded her to teach her and the woman agreed without even thinking twice. She also provided a home for Yui in her apartment. Yui played with Kurenai’s spirits as a child and was like a little sister to them. Kurenai, the spirits and Yui became a happy family.
Within four years, Kurenai taught her about Celestial Spirits Magic. She made it clear to Yui that spirits weren’t weapons; that they have feelings and they’re just like humans. Kurenai also took Yui to the Celestial Spirit World where she met the Spirit King and many other spirits. Yui loved her life with Kurenai and the spirits. She had the freedom she had always wanted. Soon, Yui became Kurenai’s adopted daughter. Magic-wise, she taught her everything she knew. She taught her how to call spirits, make forced gate closures and stuff like that. Kurenai was also a part of a guild and she was a high ranking mage.
After a year, Kurenai retired from her guild and decided she’d end her life as a mage. She resolved to give Yui the keys she had. This happened on Kurenai’s birthday, when she presented Yui with one golden key and one silver key. At first, Yui didn’t believe it. How could it be possible? Kurenai loved her spirits as much as Yui did, how could she simply give them away to someone who isn’t even related to her? It was first time Yui had shed happy tears. She took the keys happily and something unexpected happened. Kurenai told her to travel to other towns so that she would have more knowledge and not just stay in Hosenka. Yui did exactly as her mentor told her to. She left Hosenka, promising her mentor that she would become the best Celestial Spirit mage in Fiore and to keep her spirits safe. It was then that Yui’s life as a Celestial Spirit mage began . . .
Rp Sample: Yui was disappointed that she woke up at six on a Saturday morning. With Sakura, she walked around town to find a nice place for breakfast. She noticed a small little restaurant and decided to enter it. The chef was an elderly male with a cheerful smile who had employed nice waitresses. Although the shop was small, many people came and there was just one table unoccupied. Yui quickly went to the table and took a seat with Sakura. As always, they had to request for a baby chair for Sakura and luckily, the shop had one.
A waitress approached the table and kindly asked,
"Good morning, miss. What can I get you?" Sakura turned to the waitress and said,
"A bowl of ramen and two cups of tea." The waitress scribbled the orders on a piece of paper.
"Anything else?" the waitress asked, looking at Yui. Yui grinned and said,
"Nope, nothing else." The waitress left the table and Sakura looked at Yui. She was wearing a pink little kimono and looked so adorable in it.
"The ramen is for you," Sakura told Yui.
"Thanks for ordering it for me," Yui said.
After eating the delicious ramen, Yui and Sakura left the place. It costed 2000 Jewels altogether. The tea was nice too. Yui made a self-note that she should come to the place again for breakfast. Actually, they were searching for a guild to join. It's had already been five days and they hadn't yet found a guild to join. They decided to go to Hargeon and so they did.
In Hargeon, they saw furious fishermen, fishing boats, fishing nets, fish and... FISH! Sakura couldn't resist the yummy-looking fishies so she grab one and ate it without second thoughts. Luckily, no one noticed and they got away easily. After walking around for a bit, they got tired. It was already noon so they entered 8-Island Restaurant and had lunch. Sakura had a nice fish meal although she already had a raw one. Well, of course, this one was cooked so she gave the reason that they weren't the same and Yui had to order it. This time, they had to pay 6000 Jewels since 8-Island Restaurant wasn't a small shop in Magnolia. After leaving the shop, they began searching for the ideal guild, once again...
