Personality: The many masks people wear in order to face the world. Aila has plenty of these. The one she shows to those close to her is that of a rather energetic young girl. Easily excited, easily frightened, and easily angered, she is one to offer aid to any friend. She’s quick to try and be an adult and slow to show others her childish side. She’s a hard worker and doesn’t like to admit when something’s wrong, fearing that she will be abandoned. She is also easily embarrassed and flustered by the comments of others.
However, there are other facets that those close to her aren’t likely to see. Around strangers her attitude becomes more boyish, she’ll attempt to avoid their stares or behave as though she is strong, when in truth she feels weak. Despite this, she still maintains a rather curious attitude when it comes to new people. She wants people to accept her, to not look down on her, and so she’ll often hide her true self beneath the guise of male clothing and hats. People who see through this will see her shy side.
Finally, there is the facet of Aila that only the opponent will see. A darker girl, one that is unafraid to risk injury in order to end the fight, and yet she shudders at the thought of dealing the final blow. Only those that truly piss her off will have this reaper remove their soul. She will play mind games with her opponent, scare them, and attempt to lower their morale. However any normal person will see right through her care tactics, she’s simply not a very scary person.
Likes: Cool Stuff: Being raised in a house with several older brothers often made her conform to their likes which usually centered on “cool” things. This is most likely the true reason for her spell manifestation, as she often fawned over the many weapons her parents would craft.
Cute Stuff: Despite this, she harbors a secret love of things that are cute such as various animals, clothes and (less secretly) cute girls. This usually manifests in her sense of style, and is the primary reason she doesn't want to cut her hair.
Stories: Aila loves to hear other people talk about their past experiences and will often become enraptured by the story. This is caused by her general curiosity as well as her inexperience in dealing with people. She became so used lo living in her own world that now she wishes to hear things from another side.
Dislikes: (What does your character dislike and why)
Killing: Despite taking on the ‘Reaper’ epithet and theme for her requip magic, Aila isn’t too fond of actually killing people. This will be nullified if she gets too upset, or if someone she cares about is in danger.
Cats: By everyone else cats are seen as adorable little creatures that purr and play, but to Aila they’re vicious creatures that want nothing more than to scratch and bite you. This was brought about by several bad run-ins with cats during her childhood days.
Staring: More specifically she gets overly self-conscious when stared at. This is brought about by her naiveté when it comes to other people; she often feels that they are judging her.
Motivations: What motivates her is life, or rather the pursuit of life. She wishes to use the powers the Reaper gave her in order to prevent needless loss of life. She usually doe this by playing peacekeeper or attempting to make the combatants focus on her. Her family is another of her motivations; she wishes to earn money in order for them to live happily and revive their family’s blacksmith. Her brother was her original vision of the grim reaper and therefore motivates many of her actions without her even realizing it.
Fears: Claustrophobic: Aila is not one to be trapped. She will quickly descend into panic and have trouble breathing.
Dark Guilds: Due to them murdering her mother and father she is easily frightened at the thought of them
Death: Sure everyone fears death, but to Aila it’s more. She doesn’t just fear her own death she fears death as a whole. That means that, if she can help it, she won’t kill anybody. She seems to be more afraid of the death of those she cares about than she is of her own death. So it’s more likely for her to kill in order to protect them, rather than to save herself.

Appearance: Aila commonly wears clothes that hide the shape of her body. Usually these clothes oversized and with hoods or hats. She tries to appear boyish, despite her obvious feminine face and hair, not to mention her small stature. Around people she’s comfortable with this façade usually drops and she’ll dress in a more feminine matter. Even in this case, she will refuse to wear dresses. Her hair is the source of a lot of her problems. While she wishes to appear more frightening and masculine around strangers, she can’t bring herself to cut it any shorter, and therefore usually chooses to hide it using hats or hoods.
Her body has been described as small much to her displeasure. She has some muscle from training but an ordinary person wouldn’t know it just by looking. Her body is slim and her bust is a rather average B-cup. She is known to tan rather easily, and also to be easily sunburned.
Aila tries to carry herself as though she was bigger than she actually is, that’s why she prefers weapons such as spears and scythes. She usually tries to appear emotionless but fails at it the moment someone tells a joke or a sad story. Around people she’s comfortable with she’s usually all smiles, and is easily embarrassed and flustered if this is pointed out.

Description: She discovered her compatibility with this magic while trying to protect her older brother from a delusion of the grim reaper she believed she saw hovering above him. Her ability allows her to summon various menacing weapons like scythes and spears, along with various cloaks. These items often have magical effects, and allow her to utilize different spells. These items can be summoned and swapped out at will, but become rather taxing on the user's magic supply when swapped too often.
Strengths: Her weapons are rather heavy when swung, making up for her light weight. They also possess various magical effects. Her weapons also have some range to them, allowing her to attack from outside the range of swords and fists. Her cloaks usually assist in her movement through various means.
Weaknesses: Her cloaks don’t provide much in the way of defense and her scythes are rather large and tough to use in closed in places. Without the right cloak, her movement ability is rather limited while in the possession of a weapon. Without her weapons her combat ability is rather limited.

Aila was born to two blacksmiths, on the outskirts of Magnolia. She was the second born with 2 younger brothers and one older one. The family lived a relatively easy life, they had enough money to live happily and business was always good. Tsoru, Aila’s older brother, was being groomed to inherit the blacksmithing business, whereas Aila, who was considered to be too small, was simply left to live in her own little world. During those times Aila spent her days playing with her younger siblings and just staring up into the sky. Times changed as guild recruitment rates went up. Aila’s mother, father, and brother were forced to spend more and more time away from home crafting weapons for their customers. They even called Aila in to assist them at times. One such day when Aila stepped out to collect some firewood, some members of a dark guild approached and robbed the shop. Killing her mother and father, before Tsoru finally managed to defeat them. When Aila returned she saw what she believed to be the grim reaper standing above their corpses. She ran away without realizing that it had just been Tsoru wielding one of their father’s spears.

Without the two main sources of income the family blacksmith fell on tough times. Tsoru was forced to spend all of his time creating weapons and Aila was forced to become a mother figure for the little ones. Slowly they started to piece things back together. However, Aila’s visions of the grim reaper continued to persist in her mind. It started slow, seeing flickers of darkness when grocery shopping, or glints of silver when lying in bed at night. However as time went on, these small sightings began to develop into nightmares that kept her up at night. Before long she began to see him everywhere, just floating there, doing nothing. He was just staring at her through empty eye sockets. As if he was waiting for something or someone to take away again. On another busy day at the blacksmith the Reaper sightings reached their peak and she believed that he had come for Tsoru. Without realizing it she called out for one of her brothers weapons and it appeared in a flash of light. This light also dispersed the visions. From then on she wasn’t plagued with visions of him, however she began to believe that she had frightened him. Perhaps she had saved her brother’s life and could continue to do so for others. So she took up that goal and left her family to try and create a world where nobody needed to die. She believed that she could use the reaper’s own abilities to defeat him. Just as a dragon teaches a dragon slayer to kill his kind, perhaps the Reaper had become wary of his eternal struggle against life and wished for her to end it all. She worked around for awhile doing odd jobs until she could afford to purchase some of her brother’s wares and then she said goodbye to them all and promised to write.
Rp Sample: A cloaked figure crawled along the ground. As if ignoring the light rain that drizzled over it, the figure kept a ridiculously slow pace. Every so often an idle glance would come from the windows nearby, yet not a single person dared approach the mysterious figure. All of a sudden the figures hand slipped forward on the wet stone street. It plunged face first into the ground and simply laid there for a few minutes before rolling over and revealing its feminine face to the sky. Her stomach let out a low growl as her eyes scanned the clouds. She had finally arrived in a town only to discover that she hadn’t brought near enough jewels for hotel. So now here she was lying in the middle of the street. At the very least the sky looked pretty, in a gray and hazy sort of way…
“Ah!” she exclaimed as she shot into sitting position
“I definitely almost died!” She looked to her left at a bystander.
“You saw right?”The man put his head down, ignoring the strange girl as he walked away. Her stomach growled once more and she was forced to step into a nearby shop and buy some sushi. Within was a rather strong looking man who looked down on the small mess of a girl and sighed. “What would you like?” Aila peered up at the man and then down at the various items for sale. A simple tuna roll caught her eye and she smiled as she pointed it out. The man eyed her suspiciously, could she really pay? “That’ll be 100 jewels”. Aila simply smiled back as her hand reached into her pocket. She paused and her smile disappeared. It wasn’t there!
“Ah!” she exclaimed as her clothes began to glow, they suddenly shifted and the cloak disappeared leaving her in a simple purple sun dress.
“I forgot that the weather got worse closer to town” She pulled a small pouch from the pocket of the new outfit and paid the man for her food.
